Childcare San Diego’s mission is to connect parents with affordable childcare programs, helping parents become available to work. Led by the YMCA of San Diego County, the program also offers subsidized child care.
The website suffered from an old design with too much text, making it confusing for parents to connect with the services offered. Without childcare, San Diego parents wrestled with caring for their children and providing for their family.
Sagetree was hired to fix the site – to make it easier for parents to get the help for which they were searching. With Sagetree’s guidance, Childcare San Diego developed their core messaging, redesigned their website, and integrated the website with their service provider database.

The program served significantly more families than previous years, getting the child care support that they needed without confusion. With the childcare challenge resolved, more parents were able to work, and provide for their families. Further, the San Diego region had a more robust workforce to drive economic development.
