Featuring: Dr.Christoph Weber and Eric Lesser
Apr. 23, 2012 - Loew's Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego
High Performance Computing (HPC) is the method by which scientists and engineers solve complex problems using apps that require high bandwidth, low latency networking and high computing capabilities. At last year's invitational, Ingram Micro defined HPC, but attendees asked for more. This year Dr. Weber, former High Performance Computing Manager at The Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, will join Eric Lesser, Director of North American Operations for Ingram Micro, to go further in depth on the requirements of working with clusters on a daily basis.
Dr. Weber currently applies his knowledge of high performance to web applications and web hosting. His talk will focus on how HPC is moving from the research labs to Web 2.0 and hosting enviornments. This is one discussion you won't want to miss!
